What We Do
Bethany Past Students’ Association (BPSA) participates in graduation exercises, gives scholarships to children, hosts fundraisers, and works together with local charities to support the community.
BPSA has continued its purpose over the years in supporting the academic excellence of our Alma Mater and have continued as a body to strive for greater accomplishments in following years.
We co-sponsor graduation exercises at the school and provide first year scholarships for all graduates. For example, we participate in Union of Jamaica Alumni Association’s (UJAA) annual Mega Raffle Fundraiser.
In 2018 UJAA President Lesleyann Samuel served as the guest speaker at the graduation commencement exercise.
BPSA continues collaboration with one of our major supporters, The Rachael Dixon Foundation, under the leadership of Mr. Oswald Dixon. Together, we repaired the canteen at Bethany Primary School as recommended by the National Education Inspectorate (NEI).
BPSA sponsored 2 of our teachers and principal for professional development training at Gender Lens workshop in December 2018.
